The 5th annual celebration of Culture Day took place on the 13th March in Dundalk Grammar School turning the school into a sea of color and creating an atmosheric vibe and buzz, making it not like any other day.

The school received a lot of guests like the representative of the French Embassy in Dublin, Laura Le CLeach who was one of them, thanks to our presence.

The delegate from the French Embassy is in charge of culture which is why she was present that day. That’s her job to introduce the French culture in Ireland, as she told us.

The students wore their cultural attires and let their uniforms down. They wanted to show their own culture and highlight it. A lot of students prepared the stole of their own country and cooked dishes from their origins to be shared by students, school staff, parents and special guests .

During the celebration day, the students organised a concert where some of them showed their talents to the rest of the school and guests. During that show, there was music, dancing and songs. Right after this concert, some of them paraded to show their cultural attire. This day was memorable for the students of this highschool, but also for the guests who were touched by the concert.
