Are Electric Cars the Future?

The big question everyone is asking is, are electric cars the future of transportation to reduce the burden
on the environment and the solution to climate change? The advantages of electric cars are more than
most people think, electric vehicles are more efficient than combustion engines, they can convert 80% of
the energy provided to them into energy for movement, which is a lot more than normal combustion
engines.

Range:
What bothers many people about electric cars is the range. Depending on the model, the cars only have
a capacity of 200 to 400 km, normal combustion engines manage 600 to 1200 km on a full tank, which is
why the majority of electric car owners only use their cars for short distances, as it is advantageous for
short distances. I myself own an electric car and can say from experience that it is very helpful whether it
is for work, school or shopping. This is because it is much easier to maintain and you don’t have to worry
about things like oil changes, exhaust fumes or engine complaints. And therefore, only has to land once a
week for 1-2 hours.

Charging:
Charging the cars is a point in itself, when I drove a distance of 600 km, I had to take 3 breaks, during
these breaks I charged my car for 20 minutes. And then I was able to drive on at full capacity. To be
honest I would have taken the 20-minute breaks even if I had a combustion engine, so I couldn’t
complain about the range.

Speed:
A big plus point in my eyes is the speed, unlike combustion engines, when you press the accelerator
pedal the full power is immediately available at the start, so depending on the model electric cars have
up to 1020 hp and are a real joy for car lovers, but most of them lack the engine noise that is the case
with sporty combustion engines.
