Cats! Everyone loves cats. Some people prefer dogs, but those people should be in an asylum.
Specifically, certain cat breeds are better (BASED ON PERSONAL PREFERENCE) than others, as they tend to be friendlier, and generally more comfortable with people.
One of these is the EXOTIC SHORTHAIR!
This cat breed originates from the US, which isn’t very exotic but whatever. They also come in lengths of fur ranging from short to very long, which completely contradicts its name.

However, they do have benefits! Exotic shorthairs are usually extremely friendly and cuddly, but won’t really mind some time on their own. (of course, this can vary)
Some of this breed are… a little different. For example, mine (called Persephone) screams if she can’t see us anymore, and runs around making racecar noises.
Also, a little quirk of shorthairs with particularily flat noses is that they’ll occasionally snort like a pig.
They also have a sensitive spot on the bridge of their nose, which practically puts them to sleep if you pet them there.
(TIP: the bridge of your nose is the hard part of your nose that’s shaped like a ramp)
